Our founder, Steffanie, understands the challenges of parenting without a strong support system. Growing up in a complex family dynamic, moving from Brazil to Orange County, and navigating motherhood without the community she longed for, she recognized a need that many parents share.That need became the foundation for Check n’ Play: and what sparked our mission to redefine the experience of family recreation, one session at a time.

Today’s parents and caregivers juggle more than ever. Finding time to connect with a community, prioritize personal well-being, and give children enriching experiences can feel overwhelming. Traditional play spaces often require a caregiver’s constant supervision, leaving them still “on duty.”
